CB&I awarded Randridge the electrical and instrumentation package on Shell’s sixth hydrogen de-sulphurisation plant (HDS-6) in Pernis. Randridge contributed towards the 2,000,000 manhours without a lost time incident on this project and were acknowledged by Shell with an award for this. This high standard of work and impeccable safety record was also evident through the extra scopes of work that Randridge were awarded while working on site at Pernis. These included heat tracing and SIPS scopes of work for Shell.
Randridge Scope
The scope included all electrical, instrumentation, controls and telecommunications installations, loop check, testing, pre-commissioning, punch fixing, system turnover and documentation of electrical, control and instrumentation: cable ways ,cables, JB’s, panels, control room and field equipment, subsystems – VMS,ESD, compressor control, IT and communications, heat tracing, HV and LV cabling, installation of switchgear, lighting including street lighting, small power, installation of controls for the cracker.
